Bills down Packers 27-17, pushing win streak to four games

 After Buffalo's defense forced a Green Bay three-and-out, Allen and the Bills' offense went back to work. 

Four plays into their next drive, Allen hooked up with Diggs for a 26-yard score, giving Buffalo a two-score lead, 14-0, early in the second quarter. 

The Packers would respond, finally getting on the board midway through the second quarter, when Aaron Rodgers capped off an impressive 12-play, 80-yard drive by connecting with rookie wideout Romeo Doubs on a 19-yard touchdown, cutting the Bills lead in half, 14-7. 

The Bills punched back with an answer of their own on their ensuing possession. Allen helped orchestrate an eight-play, 80-yard drive, culminating with a seven-yard rushing touchdown by Isaiah McKenzie, increasing Buffalo's lead to 21-7 with under two minutes to go in the half. 

Buffalo took a 24-7 lead into the locker room thanks to a 42-yard field goal by Tyler Bass, which split the uprights as time expired in the second quarter. 

After the two sides traded field goals in the third quarter, Rodgers helped keep the Packers' slim hopes alive in the fourth, throwing a 37-yard touchdown to Samori Toure to trim the Bills' lead down to two scores with just over six minutes to go in the game. 

Green Bay would get the ball back late, but a failed 55-yard field goal attempt by Mason Crosby ended any hopes of a comeback. 

The Bills held on for the victory despite scoring only three points in the second half, as they leaned heavily on their defense down the stretch.

Buffalo will look to continue their winning ways next week when they travel to the Meadowlands to take on the surprising 5-3 New York Jets in an AFC East Division battle.
