Bills Draft Star Max Hairston Reveals All-Pro Model

The Buffalo Bills, for some, needed more offensive weapons for Josh Allen, but given the defensive needs, we didn't feel like it should be the pick in the first round.

And it wasn't.

Kentucky corner and speed merchant Max Hairston heard his name called to become the newest member of the Buffalo secondary in the first round of the NFL Draft.

Running a 4.28 40-yard dash at the scouting combine, Hairston has speed to burn, but as we know, in the NFL, it isn't all about speed.

With Hairston coming to the Bills with quite the resume, he revealed that he models his game on All-Pro Jalen Ramsey.

And if he can get near Jalen's level, the Bills' secondary will be in business.

"I love Jalen Ramsey because he played with so much swagger," Hairston said. "You knew he was that guy. You knew not to try him. And I just want to be able to go out there with that same confidence, knowing that if you come at me, it's not 50-50, that's my ball."

With Hairston coming in and potentially sliding in alongside Christian Benford or at the very least, behind Tre'Davious White, if Max can shut down one side on the field, much like Ramsey did in his prime, the Bills defense is going to eat offenses alive.

Of course, that is a high bar for a rookie, and likely a little unfair, but Hairston comes to the right organization for him and his skillset, with his long rangy frame and good ball production seeing him reel in six interceptions last season.

Not the biggest corner, but Hairston comes to the Bills determined to make an impact, and we imagine that Sean McDermott will put him in positions to do just that.
