The Buffalo Bills had a few things not in their favor during their game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. While we aren't making excuses, we just want to point out a few things that could've swung the contest in the Jags' favor.
First, Buffalo didn't show up until very late in the contest. Josh Allen and the offense couldn't get into a rhythm and the defense, in losing Matt Milano and DaQuan Jones, couldn't shut down Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne in the contest.
Then, there were the field conditions. Bills' Taron Johnson opened up on the horrid field conditions which very well could've ended his season. Johnson came in on a blitz and could be seen writhing in pain immediately after, giving the Bills Mafia a big reason to worry.
What a terrible day for the health of the #Bills defense. CB Taron Johnson just limped to the locker room after what appears on this replay to be a left knee hyperextension injury. Hoping for the best for him - a knee contusion and no ligament damage. Will have to wait on news. pic.twitter.com/W4SV0xYWYV

While he was able to come back to the contest, Johnson had a few choice words about the NFL and their illusion of player safety.
Taron Johnson hammered the turf at Hotspur Stadium.

Said his foot stuck in the ground. That's why he got hurt. Also thinks it was a factor in other injuries today.

Even Roger Goodell opened up about the obvious disadvantage Buffalo was given and how it was seemingly a test for the NFL to see how teams do traveling to London against a team that has stayed there for multiple weeks.
So we gave up a home game, played on damn near cement while exhausted and are going home with Milano and Jones badly injured bc the NFL was experimenting with a jet lagged team vs a time zone acclimated team to see what happened? pic.twitter.com/Z4UfRieapx

Finally, the ridiculous amount of penalties. Some of which, Buffalo shot themselves in the foot with. Ed Oliver was flagged multiple times early on in the contest, a trend that while wasn't targeted at Oliver, would continue throughout the game.
The Bills star defensive tackle took to social media to let the world know how he felt, and we won't be surprised if the NFL hands down a hefty fine for his comments. Or, rather, his sharing the comments on his Instagram page.

Oliver, on Instagram, shared a meme showing an NFL referee standing on a field with a handful of penalty flags behind him with the simple caption that read, "Bills player breaths" which alluded to what the team believes to be some pretty awful calls during the contest.
While Oliver just signed a massive extension, padding his bank account with some serious cash, he may be handing over some of the hard-earned money back to the NFL with his decision.
We will admit, it was hilarious. Maybe the Bills Mafia will start a petition to fund some of his fines, if they do in fact occur. Nevertheless, the team has been incredibly vocal after the loss on a few things they believe to be unacceptable.
It's hard to blame them for being upset.
