The agent of Buffalo Bills star Stefon Diggs gave a different account of his player's apparent mandatory minicamp absence on Tuesday.
Stefon Diggs’ agent, Adisa Bakari, said his client is in Buffalo, has been in Buffalo since yesterday morning, took his physical, met with the head coach and GM the past two days and the Pro-Bowl WR “will be there for the entirety of the minicamp.”

Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that the wide receiver was the only member of the team not in attendance and told reporters early Tuesday afternoon that he was "very concerned" about the absence.
Later, the Bills confirmed details regarding Diggs' appearances at the team facility this week.
The Bills have confirmed that Stefon Diggs was at the team’s facility yesterday and this morning and then left before today’s practice.

When McDermott initially spoke of his concern, media members speculated that the three-time Pro Bowler's absence was connected to his dramatic exit following Buffalo's playoff loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in January. After the 27-10 home defeat in the AFC divisional round, Diggs "darted" out of the locker room and quickly exited the stadium. This came after the 29-year-old was seen yelling at teammates (notably quarterback Josh Allen) on the sideline during the contest.
Despite the update from the Bills, it's still hard to reconcile why McDermott so openly expressed his concern over the absence.
Diggs has also spent parts of the offseason posting cryptic messages on social media, and during a March interview on Uninterrupted's "The Shop," he said that the Bills multiple playoff shortcomings in recent seasons didn't "make sense."
Buffalo has won three straight AFC East titles since Diggs was traded from the Minnesota Vikings in March 2020, a deal that included a host of draft picks (most notably the pick that turned into All-Pro wideout Justin Jefferson). The Bills fell to the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2020 AFC Championship Game and lost a heartbreaking 2021 AFC divisional round tilt against the Chiefs in overtime, before the defeat against the Bengals this past winter.
Diggs didn't show up to any of Buffalo's voluntary workouts this spring, though that isn't uncommon for star players these days.
