Bills In Awe Of 'Perfect' Amari Cooper Playoff Attitude

The Buffalo Bills are into their second AFC Championship game under Josh Allen as Sean McDermott's team will travel to Arrowhead Stadium to face the Kansas City Chiefs.

But they've done it with perhaps one of their best weapons being a bystander.

In Buffalo's two playoff games, Pro Bowler Amari Cooper has just two catches for eight yards, and that came against the Denver Broncos in the Wild Card round.

That isn't exactly what fans want to see, and after Amari stated that he doesn't care about his stats, he just wants to win, fellow receiver Khalil Shakir has given his thoughts on Cooper's selfless attitude.

“I would say that's a perfect example of our wide receiver room as a whole,” Shakir said. “Especially at this point, it don't matter stats and who went crazy and who did this, who did that long, as we come out with more points than the other team. It's dope for somebody like him, he's been at the top of our position forever, and to have that mindset, it shows how unselfish he is, and he just wants to win.”

With the "everybody eats" mantra fueling the Bills' Super Bowl push, Cooper not having a single reception against the Baltimore Ravens and not caring because the team won perfectly embodies that thought.

But against the Chiefs, Buffalo will need all of its weapons to get past Patrick Mahomes and Co. and make it to its first Super Bowl under  Allen.

So, while the receiver room is fine with Cooper not getting much action on the field, if we are being truthful, it will be hard for the Bills to get past the Chiefs if Amari is anonymous again.
