Bills’ Josh Allen Doesn’t Hold Back On Rookie WR Keon Coleman

Coleman stands 6-foot-3 and weighs in the neighborhood of 215 pounds, so he is certainly a big target similar to what Davis was during his time in Buffalo.

Allen thinks Coleman will fit right in with the rest of the Bills’ wide outs.

“I think you pair him with some of the guys we have in our room right now,” added Allen. “I think Mack Hollins has been such a great addition so far to that room with his mentality.. His mindset is infectious to others. Curtis Samuel, he’s been showing up every single day ready to work. … You start pairing those guys up with Dawson (Knox) and Coleman in this mix now, we’re gonna have a pretty solid group that works together.”

The Bills also added receiver Chase Claypool in free agency, and Allen also forgot to mention tight end Dalton Kincaid, who has surpassed Knox as the No. 1 tight end on the depth chart after a spectacular rookie campaign.

Of course, Allen still needs to develop chemistry with a lot of these guys.

Coleman, Samuel, Hollins and Claypool are all new additions, so it may take Allen some time to become accustomed to throwing to them.

It also may be a bit strange for Allen to not have a clear No. 1 receiver heading into 2024, as Diggs represented that for him each of the last four seasons.

The Bills have made five straight playoff appearances, but they only made it to the AFC Championship Game once during that span.

We’ll see if a bunch of fresh faces will help Josh Allen and Co. finally get over the hump next season.
