Bills' Josh Allen Reflects On Cool 'Everybody Eats' Stat

Since the beginning of preseason, the Buffalo Bills offense's mindset has been "everybody eats," focusing on spreading the ball around to whoever is open, not force-feeding a single player.

That mantra has served the Bills well through 17 weeks, with Josh Allen and Co. rolling to a 13-3 record, clinching the division, and having one of the most explosive offenses in football (31.8 p/g).

In the 40-14 win over the New York Jets, Allen and the Bills accomplished a feat that shows the true value of the "everybody eats" mantra.

“I think that we tied the most touchdowns caught by different receivers or different players, I believe we got 13, and we got another week to try to get one more,” Allen said. “We talk about a lot everybody eats in this offense, and it's a mantra that we've had, and I think that's a testament to that.”

Spraying the ball around to have 13 different receivers catch touchdowns shows that Allen isn't too fussed about who gets the score as long as the points keep racking up.

Mack Hollins leads the team with five touchdowns, while seven others have two or more touchdowns, and four receivers have 350+ receiving yards.

Allen is spreading the ball around well in Joe Brady's offense, and that has made the Bills a tough unit to stop in 2024. No defense knows where No. 17 is going with the ball because there isn't a No. 1 receiver to narrow the focus to.

And entering the playoffs, there will be ample weapons for Allen to utilize as the Bills look to finally get over that playoff hump.
