Buffalo Bills receiver Keon Coleman has missed the last four games with a wrist injury suffered against the Miami Dolphins, and while it appears the offense hasn't missed him, having the rookie in the lineup makes a difference.
But when will see get to see Keon on the field again? Given the slow nature of his recovery and the position he plays, it is no wonder it has taken a while to get back to a level where he can feel like he can contribute.
Will that be this week against the Detroit Lions?
“I'm good, I mean catching the ball well, so looking forward to playing Sunday,” Coleman said, offering up his injury update.
That settles it, then. Coleman will suit up against the Lions as the Bills face one of the best teams in football.
Having Coleman return to an offense that was scoring 30+ points without him, now another dimension has been added for Josh Allen and coordinator Joe Brady to utilise.
With the Bills now 10-3 after their 44-42 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, Sean McDermott will not want his team's good early season work to go down the drain, and if Buffalo loses to Detroit, it will be on a two-game losing streak, which right on the eve of the playoffs, isn't ideal.
It isn't known if Coleman will be on a pitch count at Ford Field, but missing a month, his "game" fitness likely won't allow him to be on the field for 60+ plays.
But the good news is that Keon is returning, and Allen gets another weapon to bolster what is already an explosive offense.
