Bills' Keon Coleman Sets Simple Offseason Goal

The Buffalo Bills are now into the thick of training camp with the grind starting to take hold, but it is here where the foundation for what they hope will be a successful season is laid.

For receiver Keon Coleman, coming off an up-and-down rookie season, this training camp was where he can set the tone for what he hopes will be a bounce-back year.

With the Bills needing to see Keon develop into the type of receiver who can be a No. 1 weapon that they drafted him to be, this is a crucial part of the offseason. Part of a receiver room with Khalil Shakir, Curtis Samuel, and Joshua Palmer, Coleman has the potential to rise above them all to be Josh Allen's go-to guy.

But as the training camp grind continues, does Keon have any goals for the remainder of the offseason?

“Get to the season healthy and just continue to make plays, stack days,” Coleman said.

Palmer is the new guy on the Bills block, and he will also be looking to make a good impression on his teammates and coaching staff.

Bringing a speed element to Buffalo's offense, Palmer will ideally help open things up for the passing game, which in turn, can help players like Coleman get advantageous matchups.

But what has Keon seen from Palmer so far in camp?

"He a good player," Coleman added. "Very detailed, works hard, he's a little quiet, but he gets his work done. Simple as that."

It has been a solid offseason for Coleman, but that has to continue into the regular season in the hopes he can be Allen's No. 1 weapon.

Makes plays, stack days. It might really be as simple as that.
