The Buffalo Bills enter Week 18 having clinched the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoffs.

Ahead of the team's final regular season game against the New England Patriots, the Bills announced a change in the roster. Buffalo signed quarterback Mike White from the practice squad and in a subsequent move released linebacker Nicholas Morrow.

White joins a quarterback room that's led by MVP candidate Josh Allen and also includes eight-year veteran backup Mitchell Trubisky.

The Bills stand at 13-3 on the season, riding a three-game win streak. They won their fifth straight AFC East title and will start the postseason at home the weekend of Jan. 11-12.

White has been a journeyman in the AFC East. He began his NFL career in 2021 with the New York Jets, repping the gang green for two seasons. White also spent time with the Miami Dolphins in 2023.

White has made seven starts in his NFL career, completing 62.6% of his passes for 2,219 yards with nine touchdowns and 13 interceptions.

While some playoff-clinching teams have decided to sit their quarterbacks for the final week of the regular season, Allen will be starting for the Bills in Week 18. However, head coach Sean McDermott made it clear it will be a short day for Allen once he extends his streak of 114 straight starts.

The Bills enter Sunday's matchup against the Patriots (3-13) as a 2.5-point favorite, per ESPN BET. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET.
