The Buffalo Bills dropped to 7-4 after a 23-19 loss to the Houston Texans on "Sunday Night Football."

Quarterback Josh Allen was sacked eight times, and each team scored just three points in the second half in a strange game in Houston.

Allen threw for 253 yards with no scores and a pair of interceptions, but James Cook had 116 yards and a score on the ground while Hlalil Shakier led the pass-catchers with 110 yards on eight catches.

The Bills have dropped two of the last three games to drop even further behind the 10-2 New England Patriots in the AFC East standings.

In Week 13, the Bills face the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road.

On Tuesday, the Bills made a roster move with a familiar face returning to the team.

The Bills announced that Shaq Lawson is coming back for his third stint with the team, this time joining the practice squad.

"- Signed DE Shaq Lawson to the practice squad. - Released DE Andre Jones Jr. from the practice squad."

Lawson, who played college football at Clemson, was selected No. 19 overall by the Bills in the 2016 NFL Draft.

He then spent his first four seasons with the Bills before spending a year each with the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets.

He came back to Buffalo for 202 and 2023, then played one game with the Carolina Panthers in 2024.

Lawson brings a veteran presence to the defensive line, and he could be activated soon from the practice squad.
