One of the most notable moves the Buffalo Bills have made so far this offseason was signing star edge rusher Joey Bosa to a one-year, $12.6 million deal after he was released by the Los Angeles Chargers.

But some predict he will not have a huge role right away.

In a recent article by Bleacher Report's Matt Holder, he predicts what every NFL team's starting lineup will look like to start the 2025 season. For the reigning AFC East champions, he predicts that Bosa will be coming off the bench.

"The Bills don't have much drama offensively... The other side of the ball is a different story, though," Holder writes. "Epenesa will have to fend off free-agent signing Joey Bosa, who Buffalo might want to keep on a pitch count to begin the season."

The 29-year-old was still named to the Pro Bowl this past season, but missed some time due to a number of different injuries. Even when he was on the field, he was limited in his snap count by his former team.

As for A.J. Epenesa, he finished the 2024 season with a very solid six sacks and eight tackles for loss. He is the player that Holder predicts will have to hold of Bosa for the starting spot, but the former Charger can still mentor the younger defender.

The Bills fell in the AFC Championship once again to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs this past season this past season. Bosa, Epenesa, and the rest of the team's defense will look to help lead Buffalo past them and to the Super Bowl in 2025.
