Bills Predicted to Draft All-America WR for Josh Allen in 2026

Josh Allen threw for 3,668 yards and 25 touchdowns in 2025, but the Buffalo Bills' offense lacked a true No. 1 wide receiver. Buffalo finished the regular season with a 12-5 record and ranked fourth in scoring at 28.3 points per game, yet the postseason ended with a 33-30 overtime loss to the Denver Broncos in the divisional round.

Some credit for the failure goes to the receiver room that remains thin after the team traded Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans and lost Gabe Davis to the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2024.

In the process, Khalil Shakir has solidified himself as the primary target, while 2024 high-draft pick Keon Coleman and veteran addition Brandin Cooks provide the size and speed Josh Allen lacked. However, despite having a more versatile group than in 2024, they failed to deliver in the postseason under former head coach Sean McDermott.

So, with the NFL offseason officially kicking off Monday, the assumption is that new head coach Joe Brady will use the No. 26 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft to get a receiver who can help Allen. CBS Sports draft analyst Mike Renner predicts the Bills will select Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion.

ESPN's Matt Miller explained why Concepcion fits Buffalo's scheme, penning, "Josh Allen needs a pass catcher who can create and make plays. Concepcion has average size at 5-foot-11 and 190 pounds, but he's shifty throughout the route tree and creates yards after the catch. He believes Concepcion can quickly create space and be a threat unlike anything Allen has had since Diggs.

CBS Sports’ Ryan Wilson wrote in his mock draft that Concepcion consistently gets open against man coverage, can threaten defenses deep and runs clean routes at all three levels. He also pointed to Concepcion’s value as a punt returner and his ability to add yards after the catch.

Concepcion earned All-America honors after transferring from the NC State Wolfpack to the Texas A&M Aggies for his breakout junior season. He caught 61 receptions for 919 yards and nine touchdowns while averaging 15.1 yards per reception in 2025.

The 21-year-old also won the Paul Hornung Award as college football's most versatile player, recording two punt return touchdowns and leading SEC receivers with 12 total scores.

Texas A&M started 11-0 before losing to the Texas Longhorns in the regular season finale. The Aggies' impressive campaign ended when they fell to the Miami Hurricanes in the College Football Playoff first round. Following the playoff loss, Concepcion declared for the NFL draft, and several experts now consider him the best fit for the Bills.
