Bills Predicted to Sign Six-Time Pro Bowl WR

Despite the Buffalo Bills making it to the AFC Championship Game in 2024, their roster still has quite a few holes, with one of the biggest being the lack of targets for quarterback Josh Allen at wide receiver.

Last year, their leading receiver was Khalil Shakir, who appeared in 15 games, accumulating 76 receptions, 821 yards and four touchdowns, which isn't terrible, but not exactly what you expect from a top option.

That's why in an article for CBS Sports, Tyler Sullivan labels the Bills as the best fit for free-agent and six-time Pro Bowler Keenan Allen

"Allen would pair himself with reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen, so he'd have elite quarterback play at his disposal," Sullivan wrote. "Because of the presence of Allen, Buffalo is also in the thick of a Super Bowl window, giving Allen an opportunity to compete for a championship."

There's no doubt that Allen is coming off a relatively down year for the Chicago Bears,  starting 15 games while being targeted 121 times with 70 receptions, 744 yards and seven touchdowns.

However, those numbers are still far superior to the Bills' No. 2 option at wide receiver, Keon Coleman, who in 2024 had 29 receptions, 556 yards and four touchdowns on 57 targets.

Buffalo hasn't been very active in bringing new targets for reigning MVP either, as their only other wide receiver additions have been the signing of Josh Palmer ( three years, $29 million ) and drafting Kaden Prather out of Maryland in the seventh round.

Bringing in Allen, who has had seven seasons accumulating at least 1,000 receiving yards and whose market value is at just $11.1 million annually, per Spotrac, could prove crucial to the Bills' success in 2025.
