Bills Predicted to Trade for Kayvon Thibodeaux

As the new NFL season gets rolling, the Buffalo Bills are being viewed as one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl again. Buffalo fell short in the postseason last year and will be looking to overcome the narrative this time around.

The Bills added to their defense this offseason, but they could still use some extra help to get over the hump. However, due to financial constraints, the Bills are lacking in resources to outright sign a large contract.

This could see the front office look around the trade market, and potentially add some more talent. There are a few players who could be real game-changers for this Bills team this year.

NFL writer Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report listed some landing spots for the biggest names on the trade market, with the Bills being mentioned. Knox has Buffalo trading for star pass rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux of the New York Giants.

"If the Bills were interested in bolstering their pass rush ahead of Week 1, though, they could target New York Giants' standout Kayvon Thibodeaux. The 2022 first-round pick has tallied 21 sacks in three seasons and is set to carry a cap hit of only $10 million in 2025. He may also be viewed as expendable after New York traded for Brian Burns in 2024 and drafted Abdul Carter in April," Knox wrote.

Thibodeaux could pair with Joey Bosa, Gregory Rousseau, and A.J. Epenesa to give the Bills a massive amount of pass rushers. This could help push Buffalo forward in the loaded AFC, and it would help round out the roster.

The Buffalo offense has been lights out every season, but the defense has faltered at times. Thibodeaux has a special ability on the field, and he could help generate all sorts of pressure in the backfield.

New York has been rumored to be discussing deals for him, and the Bills could absolutely take advantage of this situation.
