The Buffalo Bills are coming off another very successful season in 2025. They finished the regular season with a 12-5 record, extending their streak of 10-win seasons to seven consecutive years.

While they didn't win the AFC East for the first time since the 2019 season, quarterback Josh Allen and the Bills had a great year overall.

Much of Buffalo's triumphs in recent years has been helped in no small part by the play of Allen. In his eight-year career, the former 7th overall pick has thrown for 30,102 yards with 220 touchdowns and 94 interceptions. He has also been a force with his legs, rushing for 4,721 yards and 79 scores on the ground.

In the 2025 season, Allen was fantastic again, completing a career-high 69.3% of his passing attempts for 3,668 yards and 25 touchdowns with 10 interceptions. He also scored 14 times on the ground, one shy of his career best.

A big part of Allen's ability to throw and run the ball with great success was the help of his offensive line, including center Connor McGovern. McGovern has spent the past three seasons with Buffalo, starting 49 games in that time. While playing 3,134 snaps on the offensive line with the Bills, he has committed just eight penalties.

On Saturday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Bills reached an agreement on a new contract with McGovern for him to stay in Buffalo for the foreseeable future.

"Source: Bills and C Connor McGovern reached agreement on a four-year, $52 million deal that includes $32 million guaranteed. He will not get to free agency," Schefter said.

This is great news for Allen and the Bills, as the 29-year-old quarterback will be able to keep his star center for the upcoming seasons.
