The Buffalo Bills have been looking to benefit off Josh Allen's prime for the past several years, but have continuously fallen short.
Buffalo has met their match in the postseason on multiple occasions, numerous times to the Kansas City Chiefs led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid.
As they look to dethrone the Chiefs in the AFC, who have won the conference championship for three straight seasons, Buffalo has been monitoring the progress of running back James Cook throughout the offseason.
Cook has missed several days of preseason practice as he looks to earn a contract extension.
According to Mike Florio at Pro Football Talk, the Bills had the chance to find him for voluntarily missing practice due to a contract dispute.
Another punishment could have occurred when Cook missed the Bills' preseason opener.
