When the Buffalo Bills host the Miami Dolphins on Saturday, the game will look a bit different than last time these two teams met. Firstly, in that game, the Dolphins lost their quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, to a scary concussion. Now that he's back on the field, Bills' head coach Sean McDermott seems confident that the Dolphins offense will more closely resemble the explosive offense we've come to know.
In the same game that the Dolphins lost Tagovailoa, the Bills lost star middle linebacker Terrel Bernard with a pectoral injury. Bernard missed a couple games, returning in Week 5 against the Houston Texans, but last weekend saw Bernard leave the matchup with the Seattle Seahawks pretty banged up. Bernard seemed to aggravate his pectoral injury, while also hurting his ankle.
Before heading into the weekend, McDermott provided a massive update to Bernard, who now looks to be on track to play against the Dolphins.
Bills coach Sean McDermott said that LB Terrel Bernard should be good to go for Sunday's game.

WR Amari Cooper, WR Curtis Samuel and CB Christian Benford will be listed as questionable.
It's huge news. Bernard is a glue guy in the Buffalo defense, both in terms of on-field communication to get everyone lined up, as well as with his ability to diagnose what's happening in front of him and fly to the ball.
The Bills defense has been stout as of late, looking better each week that passes. Part of that has to do with the health of Bernard and cornerback Taron Johnson, who both bring massive upside to the Buffalo defense, and part of it has to do with this unit taking tangible steps forward in their play and chemistry with one another.
Noteworthy in the above update, cornerback Christian Benford is questionable. While getting Bernard back would be huge, losing Benford would be an equal and opposite impact on the game. Benford has been one of the best cornerbacks in the league by many metrics this season, and was a big part of the secondary holding Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle to a paltry combined 65 receiving yards in their last meeting. All-in-all, though, the team is in relatively good health heading into their second division meeting with the Miami Dolphins, as they aim to continue to stretch their division lead.
