Bills Sign Raiders Receiver As Josh Allen Potential Weapon

Many NFL teams have a star wide receiver who stands out from the rest, but the Buffalo Bills have a different mentality when it comes to their weapons.

The reigning AFC East champions did not have a receiver who finished with over 1,000 yards this past season, but they were still in the top ten in the league in passing yards because of their depth.

And the team announced recently that they were adding to that depth.

On May 20, the team signed veteran wideout Kristian Wilkerson, who will compete for a roster spot when minicamps begin at the beginning of June.

The 28-year-old receiver has only appeared in nine games since entering the league as an undrafted free agent after the 2020 NFL Draft. But he has been solid when he has been given opportunities as of late.

In 2024, he appeared in three games for the Las Vegas Raiders, and he had two receptions, one of which resulted in a touchdown.

While he might not get the most snaps if he makes the Bills' roster, you can never have too much depth, especially when you are a team looking to contend for a spot in the Super Bowl like Buffalo is.

The Bills once again were eliminated by Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship. They will be looking to get right back to where they were, and having depth piece like Wilkerson could definitely be a big help.

Or … well, OK. Maybe a little help.
