The Buffalo Bills have had a rough start to their contest against the Denver Broncos. The very first play resulted in a costly fumble. Then, when the Bills were driving, Gabe Davis let a pass fall through his hands which resulted in an interception.
Said it all offseason but Gabe Davis is a nice WR3 who gets miscast as a WR2 by a team that refuses to upgrade pic.twitter.com/68kKzzYk9i

Luckily, the team was able to bounce back with time dwindling in the first half where Josh Allen was able to dissect the defense and connect with his rookie tight end for an impressive touchdown.

However, the nasty injury bug this team has faced throughout the season has reared its ugly head once again. While not a huge contributor throughout the season, the Bills look to have lost another weapon for Josh Allen.

As Alaina Getzenberg reported , Trent Sherfield Sr. headed to the locker room early with a couple of athletic trainers. Almost immediately, the team confirmed that Sherfield has an ankle injury and would be questionable to return.

Again, while Sherfield isn't getting targets at a high clip and has struggled to find the field, removing a weapon from Josh Allen while the offense is in the middle of a disappointing rut does nothing to ease our concerns with this team.
Surely, after the game, Sean McDermott will provide more information. For right now, we're just hoping it's not serious and he can be back with his team sooner rather than later.
