Bills' Ty Johnson Reflects On Big Playoff Outing

The Buffalo Bills brushed aside the Denver Broncos in a 31-7 win at Highmark Stadium , with running back Ty Johnson proving to be quite the weapon.

With so many options at his disposal, Josh Allen has his pick of where to go with the football and due to the "everybody eats" mantra that has served the Bills well this season, everyone can get the ball at any time.

Against the Broncos, it was Johnson's time to shine, and the running back didn't waste his opportunity.

He would total 44 rushing yards from nine carries, two receptions for 26 yards, and a touchdown to complete his day's work.

“It just comes down to knowing my job and executing,” Johnson said. “The plays are going to come, the ball's going to find me as long as I know my job and first things first, is protect Josh and secure the ball. Everything else is going to follow.”

Johnson more than played his role on offense and helped pave the way for Joe Brady's offense to total a whopping 210 rushing yards, which was their second-highest total of the season.

With Johnson being an unsung bit-part player this season, Brady's offense can get any player involved at any time, which makes the Bills so tough to stop on offense. Plus, Johnson's ability as both a runner and pass-catcher makes him a dual threat that is hard to deal with.

Johnson and the Bills have taken the first step, and their next assignment is Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens.

Buckle up.
