Bills ‘Unique’ Superstar Josh Allen Earns Ranking Among Best Ever

The Buffalo Bills have one of the best quarterbacks of this generation in Josh Allen. But it may be time to start talking about where he ranks in terms of all-time field generals.

In a recent article by SB Nation, they put together a survey with 13 NFL analysts asking them who the 30 best quarterbacks of all time are. And at No. 21, they have the star QB of the reigning AFC East champions.

"There is no comp because no quarterback in NFL history remotely resembles the force of nature cannon-blasting through defenses in Western New York," Go Long's Tyler Dunne said in the survey. "You’d need to go full Dr. Frankenstein, piecing together Ben Roethlisberger’s size, Brett Favre’s right arm with an A-level mix of brains and elusiveness and athleticism... When it’s all said and done — if he can hoist a Lombardi or two — we may all discuss Allen with the very best who’ve ever played the position."

Allen came away with the NFL Most Valuable Player Award this past season due to his dominance in every aspect of the game.

He racked up 3,731 yards and 28 passing touchdowns, and he did so with just six interceptions. Allen was also able to dominate with his legs with 531 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground.

With his style of play and ability to be consistently one of the best quarterbacks in the league, he is already creeping his way up the all-time ranking. But a Super Bowl win would vastly help his efforts to do that.
