Bold predictions for the Colts vs. Raiders Week 17 matchup
Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

The Indianapolis Colts are heading into the final two weeks of the season in must-win mode.

After last week's disastrous loss to the Atlanta Falcons, they simply have to come out with a fire to right that wrong. After taking the week to observe both teams, I have three bold predictions for how this one will play out.

Offensive Prediction:

Colts have 0 turnovers

The Raiders defense has two touchdowns in both of their last two games; it honestly was the sole reason that they walked out of Arrowhead with the win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Minshew has been better in the latter half of the season at taking care of the ball, and I believe head coach Shane Steichen will develop a plan that prioritizes not giving the Raiders many opportunities to take the ball away.  I belive they will walk out of this game with zero turnovers, ending the Raiders recent success.

Defensive Prediction:

Colts will force two turnovers

You are probably seeing the theme here. I think the turnover battle is going to be crucial for this matchup. I believe whichever team wins it will win the game. I think the Colts are going to attack rookie Aidan O'Connell and the Raiders offense early and often with their pass rush, I think we will see Gus Bradley blitz at a much higher rate than we've seen in recent weeks. Which I believe will force O'Connell into mistakes, and I think the Colts come away with at least two turnovers on the day.

Score Prediction:

Colts 20 Raiders 13

This is a must-win game for both teams, but the Colts have a more clear path to the playoffs than the Raiders. As long as the Colts can take care of the ball, I think the Raiders offense simply isn't good enough to win this game. Last week their defense scoring two touchdowns was their saving grace, which should be something identified by the Colts, and made a priority. This is why I have the Colts walking out with a 20 to 13 win.
