Brad Robbins' Performance Downtrend Continues as Bengals Fight For a Playoff Spot
© Sam Greene/The Enquirer / USA TODAY NETWORK

The Bengals' punting situation has only worsened in 2023 as Brad Robbins checks in as the worst expected EPA punter this season, according to Puntalytics.

Robbins is 32nd out of 32 qualified punters in the metric and not much better in traditional stats (43.7 average, 33rd, 14 inside the 20, 24th, five touchbacks, 10th most).

It's been a disaster a season after Drue Chrisman struggled, but wasn't nearly this bad. No one would blame Cincinnati if it pulled the plug and brought Chrisman back into the fold or went after another free agent.

Robbins could cost the Bengals a playoff spot with more disastrous performances in a razor-thin AFC race.
