It's been a bit quiet on the interview front for former Los Angeles Chargers head coach Brandon Staley. As new staffs form and final changes are made, though, he may get some looks as an assistant around the league.
On Friday, that possibility begins for Staley via interview.
Staley is interviewing for the Green Bay Packers vacant defensive coordinator position, according to Dianna Russini.

Staley was renowned as a top, young defensive coordinator before being hired as the Chargers HC, so the interest should come as no surprise. He was the DC for the Los Angeles Rams prior to joining the Chargers.
That being said, Staley's defenses struggled once he became the HC for the Chargers. There was major disarray between the players and coaches. Regardless, there's a chance that he could return as an assistant, and the Packers are clearly interested in Staley's services.
Of course, LA has moved on by hiring veteran HC Jim Harbaugh. The fan base is quite excited about the move, and the Staley days have been put past them.
