Braxton Berrios Taking Heat For Comment About Alix Earle Breakup

It's been a few days since NFL kick return ace/wideout Braxton Berrios split with social media darling Alix Earle. And while the two seem to have parted amicably enough, they're still ribbing one-another online a bit.

But Berrios' efforts to take things in stride don't seem to be working out all that well.

Taking to Instagram this week, Berrios shared his first post since the breakout (and in about six weeks). He shared a few photos of him on gameday with the Houston Texans.

"What did I miss?" he wrote in the caption, seemingly taking a jab at his now-former relationship.

Bad move

Berrios and his fans might have found it funny, but Earle's fans (who outnumber Berrios' 10-1) were not amused. The comments of his post were swarmed with people criticizing him for trying to play it off like nothing had happened:

"This is a 'I just lost my hot gf' post," one user replied on Instagram.

"You actually missed every single one of Alix’s performances on dancing with the stars," another pointed out.

"You’ll miss being relevant soon," a third declared.

"Hard pass."

For what it's worth, Earle hasn't technically spoken on the split, but she did seem to hint heavily at it with a recent post:

“Is my frontal lobe developing,” she wrote in the caption to a recent TikTok video of herself laying in bed. “bc I’m about to turn 25 and usually stress abt having the biggest party but all I want to do is workout, meditate, play card games & have good convos with the ppl closest to me.”

Berrios is still playing out the 2025 season with the Texans and with the team now 8-5 and surging, he might be heading into the playoffs too.

Berrios has six receptions for 37 yards and has returned six kicks for the Texans this season.
