BREAKING – Indianapolis Colts Running Back Has Injury Status Revealed For Crucial ‘Loser Leaves Town’ Week 18 Game
Robert Scheer/IndyStar / USA TODAY NETWORK

The Indianapolis Colts have shocked the entire National Football League this season after putting together an impressive and improbable 9 win season, during what was supposed to be a rebuilding year for the franchise. Especially considering the fact that the Colts were without 4th overall pick and possible quarterback for the future, Anthony Richardson, for the vast majority of it.

The Indianapolis Colts Have Demonstrated Offensive Prowess This Season

The entire offense, directed by rookie head coach and former Super Bowl attendee, Shane Steichen, has drastically overperformed, and much of that has to do with the team’s proficiency in the running game.

In particular, former Bills back Zack Moss has seen rejuvenation in what was previously a sputtering career in Buffalo, has turned in to valuable piece of the offense behind highly compensated star running back, Jonathan Taylor. During Taylor’s absence, Moss put together back-to-back-to-back 70+ yard rushing games, and has compiled 764 yards rushing over the course of the season.

So Will Zack Moss Play On Sunday?

Despite having officially being listed by the team as questionable, it looks like we should have a good idea of Moss’ playing status, per Mike Garofolo.

How Important Is Zack Moss’ Return For The Indianapolis Colts?

Not everything, but a definite helpful for a side that has, as stated above, not had its two top running backs available in tandem since the end of November. And, lining up for what is a ‘loser leaves town’ game that could, if the Tennesse Titans upset the Jacksonville, be for the division, this game really could not have any higher stakes (in the regular season at least).

Let’s see if Moss, Taylor can will the Colts to their first playoff birth since 2020, when they were under the stewardship of Philip Rivers – which now seems a lifetime ago. Indianapolis are ever so slight (1 point) underdogs hosting the OROY frontrunner, C.J. Stroud , lead Houston Texans.
