Breece Hall Thinks 'Win-Now' Jets Are Being Slept On In 2025

The New York Jets don't have many who truly believe they will amount to anything substantial in Aaron Glenn's first year as head coach.

But that's outside the building - inside is a different story.

The vibe is different, and there is a sense of belief in what Glenn and his new coaching staff are putting together. Will it produce results straight away? Who knows, but that doesn't mean it can't.

And running back Breece Hall thinks that the Jets might surprise this season.

"I think people think the new coaching staff and new GM means a rebuild, but we have a lot of really good players on the roster, so we're trying to win now," Hall said. "And I think a lot of people from the outside are going to take that for granted and not realize that we actually have a team."

Breece isn't wrong.

The Jets have Justin Fields, himself, Braelon Allen, Garrett Wilson, Quinnen Williams, Sauce Gardner, and others who will be tasked with leading this new regime into a more successful era.

Granted, we aren't expecting a Washington Commanders-like resurgence from Gang Green in 2025, but at least being a more consistent team on a week-to-week basis is all fans are after.

Looking to be a run-first offense with Hall and the offensive line leading the way, the Jets might be sneaky good this season, but of course, there are a lot of ifs that come with it.

Can Fields finally show starting-caliber traits? Can the offensive line and run game produce? Will the passing game be fine with just Wilson as the star option? Can the defense improve and become what many think it was a couple of years ago, and be the driving force of the team?

All of those will be answered in due time, and while there are a host of skeptics on what the Jets will be in 2025, Hall just might want that narrative to stick.

Because it'll make the surprise that might greater.
