The Los Angeles Rams have made the long-awaited switch and named rookie Jared Goff the team’s starting quarterback, beginning with Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins.
Given all this is transpiring in L.A., perhaps it shouldn’t be all that surprising Goff’s ascension to the top of the Rams’ depth chart is drawing the attention of glitterati, A-listers and others that call the city home.
But in a scene that can only be referred to as surreal — in an L.A. sense — none other than pop princess Britney Spears was present at Rams facilities Tuesday to take in Goff’s first official practice as the team’s starter, with her two sons in tow.

To further lend to the star power in attendance, Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson also made an appearance.

The Rams have now officially ushered in the Jared Goff Era — for now — and thankfully, Britney Spears was on hand to bear witness to the momentous event. That’s La La Land for you, right?
Suffice to say, Spears probably wouldn’t have been present had the Rams not made the move to L.A. and remained in St. Louis. Although with all due respect to Ms. Spears, that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
