Missouri Gov. Mike Parsons commuted the sentence of Britt Reid, the son of Chiefs coach Andy Reid, late Friday.
Britt Reid was sentenced to three years in the Missouri Department of Corrections after he was convicted in a DUI crash. The younger Reid is a former NFL assistant, including with the Chiefs. He pleaded guilty in the fall of 2022 to driving while intoxicated causing bodily injury. He was involved in a wreck that severely injured Ariel Young. The 5-year-old suffered extensive injuries.
