Brittany Mahomes reveals sneak peek of steamy Sports Illustrated Swimsuit photo shoot

Brittany Mahomes is celebrating her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut by giving fans a sneak peek of her photo shoot. The wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes went to Instagram to share snaps of her photo shoot via her Instagram story. She also posted a reel that shows a more behind-the-scenes look.

“It’s @si_swimsuit launch week,” Brittany Mahomes, 28, wrote in her Instagram Story, per the New York Post. “Gonna be EPIC. “Had such an incredible time with the @si_swimsuit team, still can’t believe I got this opportunity and like really can’t wait for the launch.”

Mahomes is in the 60th anniversary of the issue that also features Kate Upton, Leyna Bloom, Martha Stewart, Tyra Banks and Paige Spiranac. She is making her rookie debut along with Olivia Dunne, Xandra Pohl, Berkleigh Wright, Lori Harvey, Achieng Agutu, Jena Sims, Nina Cash, Penny Lane, Sharina Gutierrez and Brittney Nicole. Sports Illustrated announced in February that Mahomes will be featured in the magazine.

Owner of the Kansas City Current NWSL team, former pro athlete, wife and mother, Brittany emerges as the epitome of a modern-day powerhouse,” Sports Illustrated Swimsuit editor in chief MJ Day said at the time. “Founder of the world’s first ever dedicated stadium for women’s sports, Brittany’s journey has surpassed all expectations, inspiring others with her tenacity and unyielding determination. We are proud to welcome her to the SI Swimsuit family where she will undoubtedly continue to empower women worldwide.”

Brittany Mahomes love being ‘unapologetically’ herself

As Patrick Mahomes continues to be a top QB in the NFL, Brittany Mahomes continues to be in the spotlight. And because of that, the Texas native has had her share of ciritcs over the years.

“Be confident in who you are and be unapologetically yourself,” she told Sports Illustrated. “People are going to love you or hate you, but finding your values and what makes you ‘you’ to be the best version of yourself is what really matters. Whether that’s health and wellness, being a great wife or mom, or career goals, being the best version of you is the most important thing you can be.”

Mahomes also shared her reation to being part of an inconic magazine. “I’m truly just so humbled and still in disbelief,” she stated. “As a girl from Tyler, Texas, who only really knew sports, never in a million years did I think I’d be in [the SI Swimsuit Issue]. I’m just so grateful for this opportunity.”
