Hours before kickoff between the Las Vegas Raiders and Indianapolis Colts, the former has made a huge decision on Brock Bowers.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Bowers has been downgraded to out against the Colts, with his status in Week Six against the Tennessee Titans also in question.
Raiders TE Brock Bowers officially is inactive today due to the PCL injury and bone bruise on his knee. The Raiders will consider him week to week and will re-evaluate him this week to determine whether he can play next Sunday vs. the Titans.

It was revealed that Bowers is dealing with a PCL injury and bone bruise in his knee. While surgery is not expected, the Raiders clearly do not feel comfortable enough risking their star tight end’s long-term health.
Bowers has been playing through the injury since the start of the season, when he exited the Raiders’ Week One game against the New England Patriots early. It has affected Bowers all season long, and it has now lead to him missing games.
The telltale sign of this being a possibility came throughout the week, when Bowers did not participate in practice on either Thursday or Friday.
The Colts have already proven themselves as a more difficult matchup than anticipated, and the Raiders will now have to give it a go without one of their best players.
