The Denver Broncos are not done shuffling around the coaching staff ahead of the 2025 season, as the team has hired former Broncos linebacker Todd Davis as a defensive quality control coach after spending last season as a training camp coaching intern with Denver.

Davis played with Denver from 2014 to 2019 and was an important part of the Broncos infamous Super Bowl 50 winning team. He later became a captain for the team and finished his Broncos career with 63 games played and 467 total tackles.

Most recently, Davis has been a co-host on the ‘DNVR Broncos Podcast’ with Zac Stevens, Ryan Koenigsberg, and Henry Chisholm, discussing everything surrounding the team. From rumors to staff changes to pregame/postgame episodes, Davis truly has embraced the team since his playing days.

This news comes not even a full 24 hours after the announcement of former outside linebackers coach Michael Wilhoite’s departure following his assault charges on law enforcement.

Davis worked primarily with the linebackers during training camp, and we expect him to be in a similar but full-time role this upcoming season. His expertise should add continued value to a team that will be looking to improve the inside linebacker position ahead of the new campaign.
