The Denver Broncos are making their final preparations for the upcoming London showdown against the New York Jets. The team is abroad, but don't get it twisted, it's all business for head coach Sean Payton and the Denver Broncos organization.

Ahead of the contest, the Broncos released their injury report on Thursday, and while the team does have a relatively clean bill of health, there's cause for concern.

Outside linebacker Jonah Elliss has been unable to practice on Wednesday or Thursday, putting his status for Week 6 against the New York Jets in question. Outside of Elliss, guard Ben Powers was the only player who didn't practice, as he's been placed on injured reserve and will be sidelined for the next four weeks.

Powers played in the victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, but it was reported after the game that Powers needed surgery to help repair his bicep, a brutal blow for quarterback Bo Nix and the offense.

Elliss is a dominant rotational piece for the Broncos on a defense that's already leading the league in sacks. During his 2024 campaign, Elliss proved to be a difference-maker for the Broncos. He finished the 2024 season playing in all 17 games and the playoff loss to the Buffalo Bills, where it was later reported Elliss had suffered a fractured scapula. He finished his season with 38 total tackles, six quarterback hits, five sacks, and two pass breakups.

Broncos defensive coordinator Vance Joseph has already discussed an insurance option if Elliss wouldn't be able to compete in the Week 6 matchup: rookie Que Robinson.

"Que's had great weeks of practice and he's ready to go," Joseph said. "We'll see how the roster shapes up and if Jonah really is out. Que's ready if he has to go in and play for us."

Robinson is a fourth-round selection for the Broncos in the 2025 draft, finishing his senior season at Alabama with 23 total tackles and four sacks. It would be Robinson's first NFL action if Elliss were to miss the contest.

Rounding out the injury report, everyone else was a full participant, and as long as there are no setbacks, the team will be almost at full strength heading into the contest. Running back Tyler Badie, outside linebacker Nik Bonitto, defensive tackle D.J. Jones, and inside linebacker Alex Singleton were all full participants.

All that's left to do is wait, as the Broncos and Jets face off on Sunday, Oct. 12 at 7:30 a.m. MT.
