Broncos' Jerry Jeudy: QB competition improving both Teddy Bridgewater, Drew Lock

Earlier this month, Denver Broncos head coach Vic Fangio told reporters it was "too early" to make any real conclusions about the quarterback competition between veteran Teddy Bridgewater and 2019 draft pick Drew Lock.

Wide receiver Jerry Jeudy spoke about the matter during an appearance on "The Jim Rome Show" on Thursday.

"Drew is more of a bullet-type thrower. He relies a lot more on his arm," Jeudy explained, according to Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk. "Teddy, I feel he more anticipates and throws it and knows how to anticipate on your routes. That’s the only difference I see between them. But I feel like they’re two great quarterbacks who are out here competing. Having them compete against each other, you can see both of them are improving in their game."

The Broncos acquired Bridgewater from the Carolina Panthers ahead of this year's draft to at least push Lock, but that was before it was revealed that Green Bay Packers starter and reigning NFL Most Valuable Player Aaron Rodgers could be available assuming he's serious about never playing another down for his current employer. It's widely believed Denver would happily trade either Bridgewater or Lock to land Rodgers this summer.
