The Denver Broncos were forced to start undrafted rookie practice squad wide receiver Kendall Hinton at quarterback against the New Orleans Saints on Nov. 29 when all of the standard signal-callers on Denver's roster were unavailable due to health and safety protocols related to COVID-19.
Denver's emergency quarterback did his best but completed only one of nine passes for 13 yards with two interceptions in the blowout 31-3 loss. He also added seven rushing yards in the defeat.
Nevertheless, the Pro Football Hall of Fame announced Thursday it's displaying Hinton's wristband that features play calls. The 24-year-old was able to laugh about the matter via social media:
What a blessing still unreal.. unfortunately I’ll have to explain to my kids what a negative QBR is someday♂️ https://t.co/9OwtaqRny0

In fairness to Hinton, his wasn't the worst quarterback start, statistically speaking, in NFL history. Back in May, he jokingly tweeted he's available to do whatever it takes to earn his keep on the roster:
Hell, I’ll fill up the Gatorade cooler, walk yah dog, and paint yah back porch! https://t.co/4Dj2WeeaAy
