Broncos receiver Courtland Sutton: Knee 'feels really good' following ACL injury

Courtland Sutton missed almost the entirety of last season after tearing his ACL in Week 2, but the receiver says his knee is feeling "really good" and that the "game plan" is for him to be fully ready to go by the start of training camp.

"It feels really good," Sutton told the Broncos' official website of his knee. "To be at the stage that I'm at right now, post-surgery, and to be able to go out and do what it do and it feels the way it does, it gives me hope and promise for the future because I'm only going to continue to attack rehab as I have."

Getting Sutton back should be a massive boost for Denver's offense, as the team had one of the worst passing attacks in the league last season. Jerry Jeudy showed flashes of promise in his rookie season, but the Broncos lacked a true no. 1 receiver without Sutton, which greatly limited their offense.

Sutton had his breakout season with the Broncos in 2019, catching 72 passes for 1,112 yards and six touchdowns, earning him a Pro Bowl invite and establishing him as one of the most exciting young receivers in the league.
