Cleveland Browns are heading into the playoffs but it isn’t too early to look at what the 2024 opponents are looking like.
The Browns 17 game is going to be a pretty tough one. That’s what happens when you’re a team with a winning record, you’ll have a chance to prove it again the following season every time. Since the Browns finished second in the AFC North, Cleveland has to play the second-place teams in the AFC East, AFC South, and NFC South.
The AFC North is the best division in football in the current season and will be strong once again next year. We will be talking about a Cincinnati Bengals team that will have Joe Burrow.
Here’s who the Browns will play in 2024:
As mentioned, this is going to be a tough slate of games for the Browns in 2014. Immediately, you see that the Browns will have to play the Chiefs, Eagles, Cowboys, Chargers, Jaguars, and Dolphins.
Kansas City looks to have taken a step back this season but I won’t be counting them out in the playoffs. When the best quarterback in the game has adequate wide receivers to throw the ball to next season, I expect them to be strong once again.
The Eagles and Cowboys are both contenders that will once again be very good next season. I included the Los Angeles Chargers, who I expect to be much improved with a new head coach and a healthy Justin Herbert and Mike Williams.
It’s way too early, but playing the Broncos, Commanders, and Raiders in 2024 could mean facing rookie quarterbacks.
We won’t have the schedule for months and months, but expect it to include some rough stretches. This is the best Browns team we’ve watched in some time, so they’ll have to play a schedule that reflects that going forward.
