While other teams have already found new names to fill their vacancies in the head-coaching position, the Cleveland Browns remain in search of someone to succeed Kevin Stefanski.
The Browns parted ways with Stefanski following yet another letdown Cleveland season in which the team finished with just five wins and dead last again in the AFC North Division.
On Friday, the Browns shared an update on one of the candidates for the job, Jacksonville Jaguars offensive coordinator Grant Udinski.
"We have completed a second head coach interview with Grant Udinski," Cleveland shared via a social media post on X.
Cleveland had an initial interview with Udinski on Jan. 17, and his latest meeting with the Browns was another opportunity for him to make a strong impression on the team.
As for his body of work in the NFL, he was greatly responsible for the Jaguars' noteworthy offense in the 2025 campaign.
Hired by the Jaguars to be the architect of their attack for the 2025 season, Udinski had a big hand in the team finishing with 27.9 points per game, sixth-best in the NFL.
The 30-year-old Udinski got his break in the NFL when he was made a coaching assistant by the Carolina Panthers in 2020. After his time in Carolina, he became part of the coaching staff of the Minnesota Vikings until 2024.
If Udinski ends up landing the Browns job, he'll have his work cut out for him.
Cleveland has won just eight games over the last two seasons and has an uncertain situation under center.
