We have our first update to the Cleveland Browns' 2025 schedule, and it's just Jan. 10. On Friday, the NFL announced the Browns will be heading to London next season to play one of their designated home games.
The Jets and Jaguars are the other teams to use one of their home games overseas next season.
The game will be played at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It's the only purpose-built NFL stadium that has been built outside the United States. The opponent will be announced in the spring when the league announces the full NFL 2025 schedule.
"We're thrilled to be named a designated team for the 2025 NFL London Games, making our second international trip as a club and our first time playing at the incredible Tottenham Hotspur Stadium," Haslam Sports Group COO David Jenkins said. "We look forward to playing in front of our fans in the U.K. this upcoming season and to help continue to grow both the Browns and the NFL's global popularity."
The last time the Browns played in an international game was as part of the 2017 London Games at Twickenham Stadium, losing 33-16 to the Vikings. It's been their only appearance overseas until next year.
The league can schedule up to eight NFL games internationally, and will also play regular season games in Madrid and Berlin in 2025.
