Browns have the odds stacked against them for the 2024 season that will make it tougher to win
Scott Galvin-USA TODAY Sports

When you see success in the NFL, it almost always becomes tougher in the following season.

That will be the case for the Cleveland Browns in 2024, who will play one of the tougher schedules in the NFL this coming season.

According to Sharp Football Analysis, the Browns will have the third toughest schedule in the NFL behind just the Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots.

Cleveland will play a second-place schedule of teams around the league because of where they finished in the AFC North last season. Cleveland won 11 games in 2023 but it’s going to be tougher to make that happen again. The projections are off of Vegas win totals for the 2024 season.

The Browns will get the toughest part of their schedule at home is the one thing working in their favor. Of course, they’ll travel to each division team but after that, the two toughest away opponents are the Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars.

While at home, the Browns will welcome in the Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins, and Los Angeles Chargers. While the Browns did win 11 games last year, they started five different quarterbacks and that is somewhere they hope to have better luck.

Good teams win tough games in this league and find a path to the playoffs no matter who is on the schedule. Will year No. 5 under the current regimen be the year that Cleveland breaks through and makes a run in the playoffs?
