Browns' Myles Garrett gives update following Pro Bowl scare

Browns fans had a little bit of a scare during the Pro Bowl games last weekend when DE Myles Garrett was seen limping off of the field in Las Vegas.

It was reported that Garrett had suffered a dislocated toe but that the severity of the injury was unknown.

However, Garrett has since tweeted a funny update on his injury.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said that surgery is not necessary and that the dislocated toe "popped right back into place." With just a short recovery time, Garrett should be able to have a full offseason with no limitations to prepare for the 2023 season.

Garrett's Pro Bowl scare is exactly the reason the league switched to flag football this season as opposed to a normal football game. The desire to avoid injury has impacted the quality of the exhibition in the past.

It's unknown how the future of the Pro Bowl games will look. But the NFL will certainly continue looking for ways to provide entertainment to its fans by highlighting the league's top players.

Maybe Garrett's injury is a credit to the NFL in making the Pro Bowl safer, as it could have been a lot worse.
