Browns Re-Signing TE Carsen Ryan To PS

Chris Easterling reports that the Browns are bringing TE Carsen Ryan back to the practice squad after releasing him on Tuesday.

Ryan, 23, played his college days at UCLA for two years before transferring to Utah ahead of the 2024 season. He remained there for just one season and transferred again to BYU for his last year in college football.

The Browns used the 248th pick in the seventh round of the 2026 draft on Royer. He signed a four-year, $4,812,596 rookie deal with a $432,596 signing bonus. 

In 2026, Ryan has appeared in six games for the Browns.
