For the fifth time in the past six games, the Cleveland Browns lost on Sunday. The Browns were on the road for a second week in a row, taking on the New York Jets, who were able to pull off the 27-20 win to move to 2-7 on the year. As for the Browns, they dropped to 2-7 on the year as frustrations from fans continue to grow.

Despite the team's struggles on offense, ranking No. 31 in the NFL in total offense, head coach Kevin Stefanski has been unwilling to move on from third-round pick and former Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel. The rookie signal-caller has thrown for 869 yards with seven touchdowns to two interceptions, while completing 58.6% of his passes in seven games this season.

Stefanski's unwillingness to move on from Gabriel and give the team's fifth-round pick out of Colorado, Shedeur Sanders, a chance has not been well-received by fans.

Despite the constant backlash and demand from fans and media members to make the switch, Stefanski revealed on Monday that he doesn't plan to "speculate" on when Sanders will get his shot.

"I don't think it's fair to speculate, Darrell," Stefanski said. "We're committed to getting better as an offense. Dillon is certainly committing to improving every which way he can all the while all of our players...Young players, are developing and working so hard behind the scenes to make sure that they're getting better on a daily basis."

The Browns will take on Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, and will look to end the Ravens' three-game winning streak. It remains unclear if Sanders will get a shot, but based on Stefanski's message, the team still seems to be riding with Gabriel.
