The Cleveland Browns are signing tight end Devin Asiasi to the practice squad according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
The #Browns are signing TE Devin Asiasi to their practice squad, source says. The former third-round pick of the #Patriots, who was with the #Bengals last season, stays in the AFC North after working out for Cleveland the other day.

Asiasi, (6'3",253) is a former 3rd round pick by New England in 2020. He played all of last season with the Cincinnati Bengals and has totaled 4 catches for 44 yards and 1 touchdown.
The Browns had Asiasi and five other players in for a workout last Friday. The team will have to make a corresponding move on the practice squad because they are already at the maximum of sixteen players.
Asiasi is an interesting tight end prospect to be added to the practice squad. He has the pedigree with being a high pick for the position. At the time, we are unaware of any specific need due to an injury. Currently Zaire Mitchell-Paden is the only other tight end on the practice squad.
The move could be as simple as they believe he may have higher upside than Mitchell-Paden and already has more experience.
We will certainly keep you posted on the corresponding move to be announced at some point by the team.
