Browns Wide Receiver Suffers Torn Achilles in Workout With Deshaun Watson

Cleveland Browns wide receiver depth took a hit as Michael Woods II will miss the 2023 season. According to a report, woods suffered a torn Achilles while working out with quarterback Deshaun Watson.

Woods is heading into his second season with the Browns after playing in 10 games as a rookie out of Oklahoma. Woods was a sixth-round pick of last year’s NFL Draft and recorded five catches for 45 yards during his rookie season.

Cleveland went out and added Elijah Moore and Marquise Goodwin to the roster, so there are multiple wideouts fighting for a roster spot, Woods being one of them. As a sixth-round pick, contract of Woods helps him, it’s as cheap as it gets nearly.

An unfortunate happening for Woods who has the potential to be a deep threat in this offense and looked to be putting the work in with Watson.
