Cleveland Browns star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has undergone surgery to repair his torn ACL. Whether or not he's played his last game with the club has yet to be seen.
As Scott Petrak of The Chronicle-Telegram noted, Beckham's mother confirmed on Tuesday that the 28-year-old is out of surgery and recovering. Beckham also took to Instagram:
Beckham suffered the knee injury while trying to make a tackle after Cleveland quarterback Baker Mayfield threw an interception early in the Oct. 25 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Mayfield went on to post his best performance of the season, to date, as he threw five touchdown passes and guided Cleveland to a comeback win. He later hit out at reporters who suggested he and his offense would be better without Beckham in the lineup.
"I think it's completely insensitive to a guy who just tore his ACL," Mayfield said before Cleveland's game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Nov. 1, a contest the Browns lost. "I'm not even going to comment on it."
Beckham has failed to find his Pro Bowl form during his 23 regular-season games with the Browns and has scored only eight total touchdowns since he was traded by the New York Giants in March 2019. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported on Nov. 1 that the Browns could shop Beckham to potential buyers during the offseason:

It seems unlikely such a move would occur before the summer and before teams can evaluate Beckham's recovery from the injury and operation.
