Tom Brady and Bruce Arians are preparing for their third season together, which likely means the rumors of a rift between the two were overblown. According to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach, they were completely fabricated.
Steve Wyche of NFL Network asked Arians over the weekend about the rumor that he and Brady did not get along well last season. Arians already slammed the talk last month, and he told Wyche he has “no clue” where it came from. Arians insisted he and Brady maintained a good relationship even when it looked like Brady wasn’t returning to the Bucs.

It’s possible that Brady and Arians had some issues last season. That is quite common in any working relationship, especially with a quarterback and head coach. There was also a more credible report that Brady was frustrated with how things went at times in Tampa Bay.
The bottom line is the relationship between Brady and Arians is solid enough. Unless there is truth to the rumblings of Brady wanting to play for another team, it sounds like there is no rift.
