Bryce Young now has exactly what he didn't during his rookie season, the Panthers are better for it
USA TODAY Sports

Much has been made over Bryce Young's improvement heading into his second season. One teammate is already ahead in singing the second-year quarterback's praises.

Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble recently spoke to ESPN's David Newton, where he praised Young, claiming the signal-caller has his "swagger" heading into the 2024 season.

“He’s throwing the ball with confidence,” Tremble told Newton. “He’s not worried about a thousand things like last year. You saw that deep ball to Adam. He’s having fun with it.”

"The ball to Diontae towards the end of practice, he knew he'd made the play before the ball even reached the receiver. So you can see that swag confidence. It's exciting, man.''

Young is in a system that can now play to his strengths. Dave Canales is a quarterback-friendly coach. He has weapons like Xavier Legette and Diontae Johnson who will make life easier.

Carolina's offense has juice, something that couldn't be said at the same time last season.

"He's got everyone on the field he can trust that he can get the ball to,'' Tremble said. "And having that trust with everybody is going to help him make his decisions and just make the right throw every time.''

That is just want the Panthers were hoping for heading in 2024.
