Buccaneers Add Ifeatu Melifonwu to 53-Man Roster

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are making a roster move involving safety Ifeatu Melifonwu.

Via Fox Sports’ Greg Auman,

“Bucs are signing safety Ifeatu Melifonwu to their 53-man roster. He had been elevated from the practice squad in each of the first three games but was out of elevations. Has 51 snaps, one tackle on special teams. Likely counter move is WR Jalen McMillan to injured reserve.”

Melifonwu has been elevated from the practice squad for each of Tampa Bay’s first three games.

With those elevations exhausted, the Buccaneers are now signing him to the 53-man roster.

He has played 51 special teams snaps this season, recording one tackle.
